Pregnancy Confirmation with Ultrasound
A positive pregnancy test is an important first step, but an ultrasound can provide more information about your pregnancy. At Care Net of Las Cruces, we offer free limited obstetric ultrasounds performed by our registered nurse trained in obstetric care. Our Medical Director reviews and confirms all results.
What an Ultrasound Can Tell You
- Is the pregnancy located in the uterus?
- Is there a detectable heartbeat?
- How far along is the pregnancy? (gestational age)
What to Expect
The ultrasound typically takes about 20–30 minutes. After your appointment, your images are reviewed by our Medical Director and results are confirmed within two business days.
